Thing to do in Nantucket this Summer

Wether you've been to Nantucket in the past or not, there's always something to do.
Nantucket is a small and isolated island off Cape Cod in Massachusetts.
*
It's a Summer destination with stunning beaches, so much nature. Charming architecture and beautifully landscaped homes. The darling cedar-shingle homes and buildings make this island so charming! The cobblestone roads of Nantucket, are filled with delicious restaurants, high-end and local shopping, churches, whaling museum and more.

Here are a few things you should do in Nantucket this Summer:
1) Sankaty Head Lighthouse. Built in 1850 and automated in 1965 is still in operation. While there, make sure to see the beautiful charming homes of 'Sconcet Bluff walk and Sconcet Beach.
2) Stroll downtown in the charming shops, take photos by the marina, eat some ice cream .
3) While downtown check out the Whaling Museum.
4) Brant Point Lighthouse. Established in 1746 and automated in 1965. Still in operation.
Next door to The White Elephant hotel, which would be a perfect Brunch spot.
5) Surfside Beach
6) Jettis Beach, a great option if you have kids traveling with you. You can have lunch at Sandbar.
7) One of my favorite things is to photograph the flowers in Nantucket. I love the Hydrangea season which is typically last week of June until the 4th of July. Roses mid-june throughout the Summer season.
8) Visit the Old Mill
9) Book a cruise with Nantucket by Water. They have so many options to choose from. Private charters available they also do cocktail, sunset, oyster tour (which I would love to do next time!) If you're traveling with children I would recommend their kids fishing trip. Which we've done a few years ago when the girls were little. It was super hands on and the kids loved it!
10) Make sure you head over to Madaket Beach to watch the sunset.
Did I miss anything? Let me know in the comments!
