Our Family Macaron Class in Paris!
A Sweet Afternoon in Paris: Our Family Macaron Class
Paris gave us many beautiful moments — croissants at sunrise, strolls along the Seine — but none sweeter than our afternoon learning to make macarons together at

We wanted something hands-on for the girls, a break from museums and sightseeing.
The Macaron en Famille class was perfect — designed for kids ages 6–12 and their parents, taught entirely in English by patient, encouraging chefs. Each duo made two flavors of macarons from scratch, mastering the delicate “macaronage” technique that turns simple ingredients into elegant little cookies.
The kitchen, tucked in a cozy corner of Montmartre, felt like a Parisian dream — bright bowls, whisks, and laughter echoing off tiled walls. Our girls measured, mixed, and piped with so much focus (and a little friendly competition). When the trays came out of the oven, their proud smiles said it all.
We filled our colorful shells with ganache and couldn’t resist sampling a few on the spot — crisp outside, chewy inside, and impossibly delicious. The rest we boxed up to enjoy later, a sweet souvenir we actually made ourselves.
Chef Sarah was so kind, and experienced. Truly teaching the girls and guiding them every step of the way.
But macarons are just one of their offerings. Cook’n With Class also teaches croissant baking, family pâtisserie classes, private cooking classes, French cuisine classes, Marie Antoinette Classes, Sauce making class, Bistro cooking class, and market-to-table cooking workshops — always in small groups and taught in English.

And if you want to keep exploring culinary travel beyond Paris, there’s Let’s Eat The World — a sister venture that offers chef-led food tours and immersive cooking vacations
(France, Spain, Italy, and beyond).
If you’re visiting Paris with kids, this class is a gem. It’s more than a baking lesson — it’s a memory that smells like sugar, sounds like laughter, and tastes like pure joy.
