How to decorate for a party with less than 20 bucks.
1) Pick a Color Scheme: Purple and Pinks.
Brigadeiro de Copinho. There is a great Brazilian sweet that is like a bonbon and extremely scrumptious and delicious called brigadeiro! Here is the recipe:
INGREDIENTS:
DIRECTIONS:In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine cocoa, butter and condensed milk. Cook, stirring, until thickened, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let rest until cool enough to handle. Form into small balls and eat at once or chill until serving. In my case, I just poured on these cute cups found at the Dollar Store.

4) Purple Background is actually a disposable/ plastic table cloth that I used as an accent on the wall.
5) 6 Helium Balloons (they were U$5 each to fill it up in Brazil, but if you buy at the dollar store they are U$1 each with Helium)

Total so far: U$ 11,00 + Tax
The Spoons I already had them, but you can also find them at the dollar store and the bows as well.
So add to the total U$2,00 + tax = U$13.00 + tax.
I did buy a few treats at the dollar store for the party favors such as: A bag with Twizzlers, Lollipops, Laffy Taffy's... Bringing our total to U$16,00 + Tax.
Passion Fruit Mousse or you could do Chocolate or Lime Mousse as well.
There you have it. A PARTY DECOR FOR LESS THAN 20 DOLLARS.
TOTAL U$ 16.00 + TAX.
Oh just for your information I did built the cake out of cardboard box and foam papers in order to be prettier and look good on pics. We had a double layered chocolate cake that was the actual cake!
