The Shore House: A Historic Narragansett Inn

Who knew that in this tiny state we would have so much history!

Welcome to The Shore House. A beautiful ocean front property located in the South of Rhode Island. Known for it's beautiful beaches and nautical history, this part of the state has so much charm! It's  proximity to Newport is also a great factor when visiting our little state! So much to see!!

This 31 room Shore House has the perfect mix between nautical and traditional Victorian, a popular architecture style of the 19th century. You will feel right at "home away from home" but still enjoy the rich history to this destination!

We live in Rhode Island, about 40 minutes away and we had a blast doing a short staycation!

The hotel just finished an incredible renovation and beautiful refresh. In it's interiors you will find a mix of old and new. Modern and Vintage. A place with a sense of belonging. A connection between the past and the present!

You could borrow some fun board games! Perfect to unwind and relax with friends and family!
Welcome to room #3:
This beautiful and bold wall paper really anchors the transitional and modern furniture pieces.
The hotel maximizes its location as every room has a view of the sea!
First-floor rooms have private patios and the ones on the 2nd floor with a standalone balconies.
I could literally be there all day, or open the blinds and see the ocean from our bed.
The Bathroom was breathtaking!
Glass-walled rainfall showers and marble vanities.
Another super fun thing to do while staying at The Shore House, is to go for a bike ride along the ocean! These really cool beach cruisers were perfect to sight see or maybe just get to the beach quicker!
The lobby and reception area was designed to be a more inviting and welcoming area without a traditional front desk. I love the antique tables, wicker chairs, and Chesterfield Sofa, they are the perfect addition to the paneled walls. The library is calm and relaxed. The stunning old oak trim wood floors that support shelves stocked with a wide range of books and even some publishing dates as the old hotel.
I want this ceiling pendant in my house! So pretty!
The hotel staff and GM Luciana goes above and beyond when it comes to hospitality!
We love warm welcomes! Thank you!!
